Robbery Suspect Arrested at Local Market

On Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at approximately 9:49 am, officers responded to a robbery call at the Red Apple Market located at 2701 Beacon Ave S. The suspect, identified as Jonmarc Edward Jackson, entered the store and attempted to steal two tall cans of beer by concealing them in his jacket pockets.
Store employees, including Kenneth Wilson, confronted the suspect and asked him to return the items. However, the suspect became aggressive, lunged at Wilson, and bit him on the left forearm and thigh area. The employees were able to subdue the suspect until officers arrived.
