Seattle Man Arrested After Indecent Exposure Incident at Local Coffee Shop

A Seattle man, Stephen Robert Jones, has been arrested after an incident of indecent exposure at a Starbucks located on Pike Street in downtown Seattle. The event took place on the afternoon of February 7, 2025, when Jones reportedly exhibited lewd behavior in the coffee shop.
According to the Seattle Police Department report, Jones was spotted by Starbucks security guard Frederick Hooks engaging in inappropriate conduct. Hooks described the situation to Officer Kortney North, revealing that Jones had laid down on the floor, pulled down his pants, and began openly masturbating in the presence of shocked customers.
Officer North, who was providing backup at the scene, noted that Jones was quickly detained by the primary officer, Ryan Beecroft. Hooks confirmed Jones as the individual involved by showing photographs taken earlier, in which Jones was wearing a purple rain jacket matching the description provided during the dispatch call.
Following his arrest, it was determined that Jones would be trespassed from the Starbucks location upon Hooks' request. Additionally, Jones is facing charges of indecent exposure, with his case being referred to the Seattle Law Department for further legal action. The Starbucks incident is also linked to other felonies for which Jones was simultaneously arrested.
