Seattle Man Faces Charges After Threatening Incident at Local Apartment Complex

On the evening of January 29, 2025, officers from the Seattle Police Department responded to a disturbance at the Assembly118 Apartments on South Othello Street. Eudarius Sharrod Johnson was reportedly causing a scene by refusing to leave the premises and making verbal threats.
Upon arrival, Officer Marcus Jones interviewed Robert C. Sandoval, a security guard on duty, who reported that Johnson threatened him by stating, 'I’mma beat your ass and I'm the owner of this building, this is my building!'. This statement caused Sandoval to fear for his safety, prompting him to contact his supervisor and ultimately call 911.
Witnesses indicated that Johnson, a non-resident, repeatedly accessed the building by sneaking in through the garage entryway. Officer Jones noted that Johnson had been previously trespassed from the property on January 13, 2025. Despite efforts to locate Johnson, officers were unsuccessful in finding him in the immediate vicinity.
Charges against Johnson are being pursued for verbal harassment under RCW 9A.46.020 and an additional burglary charge due to the unlawful entry with intent to commit a crime, given his previous trespass notice. The case has been submitted to the Seattle City Attorney’s Office for further proceedings.
